ADD CAN BE A DIBILITATING CONDITION
"I would like to sincerely thank you for your Professional Botanical products, specifically, Calm Atten. I feel that this product creates miracles. First I would like to contrast where I was and where I am now after taking this product. As I was growing up I was diagnosed with ADD and medicated several times over with Ritalin and other drugs. I remember that they made me feel like I wasn't me. I wouldn't feel like doing anything and just sat in a daze. So I quickly threw the drugs out and instead decided to focus on having a positive mental attitude. I told my friends, family and even the doctor that my extreme creative and high energy was a gift from god and that I was not going to feel ashamed of it anymore. Since then, I believe I was about 16 at the time, I have had an anti-medication mind-set when it comes to most prescription drugs.
As I got older I started using self help programs to focus my thoughts and energy. I have read hundreds of books, been to seminars and at one point even walked barefoot across 2000 degree coals, all to better myself in this area.
Yes, I love personal growth that comes from this approach to dealing with my ADD but my real motivation is . . . . . that even though I know that I have a great life, the best wife anyone can ask for and beautiful children, I still wake up every morning and feel like an absolute anxiety bomb. I am constantly stressed and mentally overloaded with nonstop thoughts. Now I know that this is natural to some degree but here is the thing, my ADD makes it so I am thinking so many things at once that I can't even begin to concentrate. However, even with all my self-help knowledge and positive thinking exercises, trying to overcome 20 thoughts at once is overwhelming. For instance, I would forget what I was doing in the middle of almost everything that I do. I would constantly walk in the next room to get something and then start something altogether new completely forgetting the task that I originally started. I would do this over and over again all day long. It has been so hard for me to normal tasks like keeping appointments or paying bills. My ADD made it so I literally felt like there were a million thoughts and things to do coming at me all at once. I felt a heaviness in my mind. Knowing that I have such a great life, I found it hard comprehend why I had these feelings.
Now for the other part of my story, my wife started using Professional Botanicals’ Calm Atten for my daughter who also has been diagnosed with ADD. Calm Atten was almost an over night success. So I figured that if it was working so well with her, I wondered what it would do for our other daughter who started showing a lot of the same signs. So we tried Calm Atten with her and the first day she stopped demonstrating the negative behaviors and just had an over all happier presence about her.
I started joking with my wife saying, “Wow, that's awesome. This has worked great for these girls. They had been acting out just like I did when I was there age. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
